Ok, I could just photograph newborns all day long. I have certainly been blessed to have had some wonderful newborns to photograph so far this year!! It’s a great way to get a chance to spend some time with the littlest of babies and get my “fix”! ;)

Anyway this is the little man {R}. Congratulations Meredith and Keith (and Grandma too) He’s just a perfect lil’ guy and super adorable.

I’m very fortunate to have this large area of bright red poppies growing right in Redmond at the moment! I was looking for an opportunity to photograph my daughters to celebrate the beginning of summer and the fact that my daughter is now 7! So, I proposed that we stop to check those poppies out and get a few photographs of them and they were all for it! Of course, the ice cream bribe should be mentioned in all fairness.

The poppies are right next to the new freeway on-ramp, but don’t fear, there is a walking trail safely distanced from the traffic. It’s a little loud, but worth it I think. Ahh… and yes, the light was simply delicious that evening.

I’ve had two clients just recently celebrate their first fathers day just after having babies, and this is one of them! Isn’t she cute? I haven’t photographed a baby girl in the longest time!

One things for sure, I’ve never ever once seen a newborn baby smile like {L} did and she did it more than once. I should thank her for being such a great little model right from the start.

{N} finally let me sneak one in. She was being quite shy, as you can see her here hiding behind the doorway. She was amazingly patient while we got her little brothers first portrait taken.
