I love photographing kids with H names!  And this little one never lets me down.  I was told that at last years session she was little miss grumpy.   Well, she’s a very well behaved little miss grumpy then because I didn’t even notice. ha!  This year, she was a doll!  So sweet, and fun.  We played fairy and she blew us all over with her very strong winded kisses!!

This is such a fun location – full of nooks, crannies, colors, and of course garbage cans so we can look for Oscar the Grouch!  Luckily the garbage cans are more dressed up than most.  And luckily for the garbage can obsessed {N} there were plenty to be found.  :)

Thanks Chris and Kat!!!  Here’s a little sneak peek…

OH how I loved this family and this beautiful day!!! The sunlight was beautiful in September this year.   I’m missing it!   Although it looks like we are having another beautiful day today.    I’m a CSA member of Jubilee farms in Carnation this summer and have really really enjoyed this beautiful farm.  Erick and Wendy, the owners have been so kind to grant me permission to use their property for photography sessions.    http://www.jubileefarm.org/

Thank you Ulrike and Leif!  It was great seeing {F} and {F} again – they’ve grown SO much.

{Senior} ’09

September 18, 2008

I don’t get that many senior boys typically, but when I do, it’s always a treat.  Kyle – you are so handsome! Thanks for asking me to take your senior portraits!

LOVE this location he  took me to.  The bushes were taller than me along this trail.

{R} + {A} = cuteness

September 17, 2008

Oh my these two are super cute!!  I was so honored to have been asked back to capture {A}’s first birthday and photograph big sister {R} again.   They are both full of spunk and cuteness.  I loved it!!    And you can imagine mom has her hands full with these two – but does a great job of it!  My own kids are close in age too, and I know just how challenging that can be at times.  But it’s so sweet to see two sisters that are practically the same size!

What cuties!! {M} was such a riot, I loved her expressions and sense of humor – I still chuckle when I remember the things she said to me.  haha!   {J} took a bit to warm up with me that day – we managed to get him to come around eventually, and when he does – his face sure lights up!

The location (Bothell Landing Park) was a perfect setting for this beautiful family too.

Julie, thanks so much for asking me to capture your beautiful family!

My favorite tunnel in Redmond has been freshly tagged – oh well – it still works and it’s a lot more colorful now!

Oh I loved this location and how Lake Washington is peeking through the trees – such a lovely backdrop!!

There is an amazing thing that happens when senior girls get together for a photosession.  It’s SO much fun!!  I loved these girls and they are all so gorgeous and definitely photogenic!  I really had a hard time choosing which to show here!

Back to School

September 2, 2008

Even though I’ve got several sneak peeks to post on here (they are coming – promise!!)  I couldn’t go without posting a little note about the first day of school.  Today we sent off my youngest to kindergarten (sniff sniff), and the other into 2nd grade. It’s strangely quiet around here and I feel a little weird today all alone. I’m sure I’ll get used to it.  Everyone keeps asking me what I’m going to do now that both of my kids are in school full time.  Well, one thing I *am* looking forward to is getting my nights back!!  I can work during regular daytime hours again – yipee!!!  And maybe the house might stay a little cleaner?  One can only hope.  I’m also very blessed that I am able to own this wonderful business and have my own flexible schedule which allows me to be home when my kids need me and volunteer at their school.

Here they are – off to school this morning!!  Aren’t they the cutest??  I’m just a little bit biased I know.  {smile}
