She’s such a little peanut, and super adorable, isn’t she? She was amazing during the session, I don’t think I heard a peep out of her! Even when she was wide awake! Congratulations Kim and Pedro! She’s beautiful!

This was a super sweet session! Miss {A} really enjoyed dressing up for this one. We danced to princess music and just had a lot of fun!! I wanted to bring in something colorful to balance out the gray days – I love the bright pink tulips. Makes me thing SPRING! I know it’s right around the corner…
But first, a little Valentine for you! Hope your days are filled with sweet love!

Valentines day is quickly approaching and after working with this sweet family I can see just how much love this family has for each other…… all the way to the moon and back! (and more, of course!)
Little {J} and {M} laughed together and had a good time during the session! Isn’t this sooo sweet?

Thank you Julie and Aaron! It was fun seeing you again! :) ~Holli
I have photographed a bunch of really adorable little ones this fall! They have such amazing little personalities and I enjoy every minute with them and their families!! A little sneak peek while I work on getting the November sessions completed!

Um, can I have a pair of little red shoes too?

{A} and {A} were one of my very first clients and it was a joy to see these two again! Thanks Kristy for asking me back!

Ah, it’s been a dreary time lately but I managed to get a few sessions done with the fabulous fall color before the rain really hit. I’m being as hopeful as I can that this weather dries up soon so that I can finish up the holiday portrait season with everyone who is scheduled. Thank you beloved clients for being super patient right now.

I’ve been lucky to have little miss {L} and family back for their fall portraits! It’s been a joy watching her grow! This year they brought along L’s favorite stuffed doggy to show me just how loved he is. It’s the cutest thing! Here is a little before and after….

And “woof woof” today:

Now woof woof is a girl doggy and I think just a little bit cuter! Especially with the clippies and hair bows! ;)
Here’s a little sneak peek for Chris! I think this will brighten up your day because these two are SO so cute! We were outside at Kelsey Creek Park for this one and the fall color is just beautiful!

A happy little ladybug joined in the fun!

Last week I was blessed with the opportunity to participate with Green Halloween at the Whole Foods, Bellevue store to promote a healthier and eek-o friendly Halloween for our children!! I took fall pictures of kids as they visited the store. The produce department offers pretty amazing fall color with all the fruits and vegetables. (It was POURING rain that day so the original plan to be outside with the pumpkins didn’t work out). I also provided a fun eco-friendly pirate themed craft for the kids. We made these out of leather upholstery samples all repurposed for a craft!! I have to say that it took a little thought to figure out what to make out of little 4×6 pieces of leather and Corey from Green Halloween gave me the perfect idea of Pirate Eye Patches, and then I added in Pirate Bracelets and little Treasure Pouches too!
Check out Corey and Lynn from Green Halloween hard at work! And I love seeing the photography I did blown up huge on their banners! Look at that cutie!!
What is Green Halloween? Be sure to check out their website for tips on being green, offering healthy alternatives for our children, and products safe for the enviroment at www.greenhalloween.org.
Here are a few tips from their “Getting Started” section:
And if your child does collection candy:
*We are big fans of the Candy Fairy at my own house!
Here’s a little sneak peek from a recent fall portrait session with Becky and Family! Her family was awesome and sooo sweet. I’m so glad we had a beautiful day that day!

Thank you!!!!!
Each year I work with Green Halloween and the fantastic minds behind this movement (Corey Colwell-Lipson and Lynn Colwell) and learn how to be eco-friendly and healthy on Halloween (and other holidays!). Come check it out at an open house this Wednesday from 11-4pm at the Bellevue Whole Foods store. I’ll be at a table with some fun pirate themed crafts re-using leather/pleather upholstery samples. There will be many other tables to explore around the store offering crafts and activities for the little ones! Ideas, samples and give-aways will also be offered to help us all get started with great ideas on how to be Green this Halloween!!
In addition to the crafts I’ll be taking pictures of the kids – in costume or not (costumes are fun!!!) and sharing a digital file with you FREE! So come check it out, bring the kids and have fun! See you there!! Just a few pictures I took at the 2007 Green Halloween Event at Whole Foods!!! The pumpkins and apples make for a splendid fall background!!!
