A little sneak peek for the T family.   I loved this session and working with this family was so much fun.  They were very laid back and although T decided to be done a little more than half way through (very typical for 3 year olds) we just went with it and got the family portrait on the beach in the end plus a few more of the kids with mom and dad.  :) Yay!    The beach was BEAUTIFUL!  We totally lucked out that the morning was pretty cloudy and cool so it wasn’t crowded at all.   Then the clouds started burning off and we were blessed with some amazing light.

And their little French Bulldog Oliver is SO cute!!

We have had some amazingly beautiful days in August and this was definitely one of them.   I love the garden at this park in Kirkland and was so excited to get the chance to photography the D family again with all the blooms!     Thanks for asking me to capture your family portraits again Barb and Paul!

Meet T – he won the highest bid on my donation to Eastlake High School’s Drama Club auction!   I love working with the kids who are in drama club.  They are so fun and easy to photograph, and all have a great sense of style!

T is very involved in Drama Club and will be the club’s historian!  He is really looking forward to it!  He is also an amazing artist.

We had his session in downtown Kirkland on the waterfront, and wow! What a gorgeous night it turned out to be!  The setting sun made for a gorgeous golden yellow light.  I love how the closeup we captured with yellow black-eyed-susan’s in the background fit in so well with the golden tones.   :)

Thanks T!  It was great meeting you and I wish you all the best with your senior year!

With school starting soon (too soon!) it means that fall portrait season is here.   I’m currently booking sessions for September and October.   Book early for the best weekend availability.   Holiday portrait cut-off dates are in early November (15th) for Christmas turn-around.

Mini Sessions! Every year I offer a day or two of mini sessions for fall portraits.  This is your only chance to get portraits at a great price.   The dates this year are September 25th and October 16th.  I have special collections for these mini sessions too!    The portrait sessions will be held at a local park in Bellevue and Kirkland.  Contact me for more information!

Seniors! I’m offering 50.00 off a full session or 25.00 off mini sessions for those who call now and book before August 31st!    Senior yearbook deadlines are sooner than you think!  Now is the time to have your portraits taken for the best weather, tans, etc.    I have a few dates left before school starts!

The weather was awesome in downtown Kirkland on the evening we created A’s senior portraits.  A band was playing too, which made it even more fun!   And we finished it off with a delicious ice cream cone.  Ahhhhhhh……

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family again for Miss A’s birthday!  She’s 3 and full of so much personality!   Isn’t this family adorable?   I think so!

A little sneak peek for the wonderful M family who I met last week on a beautiful day in Seattle at Greenlake Park!  It started off foggy that morning but was perfect for the first images we took in front of the lake.  I love the soft color/feel that the diffused light gave us!  Then it quickly burned off to a glorious day as we walked around the park.    Little Miss E was a superstar too!  Such a cutie and so proud to be a big sister!

Thanks M family! I enjoyed meeting you all and look forward to sharing the rest of the images with you soon!

Meet my Reps this year,  Hattie and Bianca!    They are both awesome girls, very smart and ambitious with academics and athletic too.

Hattie loves horses so she suggested we go out to Woodinville and take portraits at the horse farm where she trains and we were able to get some great images of her and her horse Idaho!  LOVED it!  Had so much fun there. It was a great location to take senior portraits.  :)

I’m excited this year to have them as my senior reps!   In addition to helping promote Holli Dunn Photography, we were able to have fun with the camera and a little editing on photoshop too.  In fact, some of these images are images they took of each other!

We loved this wild grassy field in Redmond.  Isn’t it awesome?

Idaho, he’s a cutie!

SO SO cute, and so much fun to see this little family again and meet their new little brother!  I loved how excited they were about him, and just being able to run around in the yard on a nice evening.    You might recognize the little girls, they are on my website opening slideshow.

Here’s a little peek from the session!   Thanks Susan and Craig!

I was so excited to meet little Miss E after photographing this sweet family for a maternity session at their home and beautiful property.  Big brother and sister were super and so patient – it was raining during the maternity session and we just went with the flow!    Thank you Nicole and Neil! Congratulations!!!!
