Miss M is SO so cute, such a little peanut that would curl up in your arms.  Loved meeting her and her sweet family at the studio a couple weeks ago. :)

Has the cutest little dimples on both cheeks!

Loved the heirloom blankets that grandma brought like the one shown above (and hand made headbands from her aunt) – it’s awesome to be able to incorporate something personal into a newborn sessions!

Had a few High School Senior sessions recently, we had great weather for these (yay!) and I really enjoyed working with both of these kids!

First a senior boy session at the studio.  We did the senior “super” mini, so we took a few just outside my studio and headed inside for a few more.  I love how my building has that industrial look to it, which lends itself well to senior portraits, especially boys.  But there is some greenery around too… we just didn’t use it much.

Love the simple and modern look in this!

Ah, it’s been a dreary time lately but I managed to get a few sessions done with the fabulous fall color before the rain really hit.    I’m being as hopeful as I can that this weather dries up soon so that I can finish up the holiday portrait season with everyone who is scheduled.  Thank you beloved clients for being super patient right now.

I’ve been lucky to have little miss {L} and family back for their fall portraits!  It’s been a joy watching her grow!  This year they brought along L’s favorite stuffed doggy to show me just how loved he is.  It’s the cutest thing!  Here is a little before and after….

And “woof woof” today:

Now woof woof is a girl doggy and I think just a little bit cuter!  Especially with the clippies and hair bows!  ;)

Here’s a little sneak peek from a recent fall portrait session with Becky and Family!  Her family was awesome and sooo sweet.    I’m so glad we had a beautiful day that day!

Thank you!!!!!

Fall is here!!  I can’t believe how fast that last part of summer slipped by.   I thought I’d catch my blog up with a giant post or two of recent work!    First, families!

Excuse me for the time between posting sneak peeks on my blog!  I was already behind on getting this updated and last weeks heat wave set me back even further. LOL.   Not that it’s really a valid excuse.   Well, perhaps because but we do not have A/C in my office and getting work done was really really hard.  So I guess you could say I took a little un-scheduled vacation and now I’m back to work and trying to catch up!   Hope that you were all able to survive the heat last week and enjoy it some too.  I try to focus on the positive and be thankful for all that we  were able to enjoy!  An awesome day at the beach with good friends.  An impromptu camp-out in our backyard.  And my kids dipped in our kiddy pool at night to cool off before bedtime.    We can’t do that too often here in Washington, so it’s great to be able even for a few days each summer.   But now that the cooler weather is here I’m also excited for a little relief from the heat and a good nights sleep at comfortable temperatures!

And I’m especially thankful for my wonderful clients who keep me busy each summer. :)  I wouldn’t be here without you. :)

A little sneak peek for the {B} family!  More beautiful kids!!

Oh this little guy – loved how his face just lit up when he smiled at me!!   He was so into crawling and moving around, and thank goodness for a really wide angle lens so I could capture him as he crawled over and climbed up on my knee!
