It’s {Snow} Lovely

Ha, ha, sorry for the pun. We had a funny week with this Seattle snowstorm.. felt like a week filled with Sundays which isn’t too bad really, having forced downtime. Makes you sit and think about things which sometimes we really need to be forced to do that. Also helps you notice little things or take some time to do something different from the daily activities and busyness. So for a quiet hour, I spent some time outside capturing birds, which I love. I also sneaked in a few images of my kids which are hard to capture, really really hard to capture being that all they wanted to was to play in the snow or worry about their next activity that will save them from the god-forbidden boredom of nothing-ness. Yeah, it’s good for them too. :)

Love shooting in the snow! Clean fresh backgound and loads of natural light…

Happy New Year! A year in review….

Wow, I can’t believe all the beautiful families and children I see here. 2011 has been a great year for Holli Dunn Photography! Celebrated a year in the Bellevue studio, expanded it by double towards the end of 2011 and met many new wonderful people which makes my job very rewarding! I also took some time to work on personal goals which I’m very proud of too. Here’s to another great year! See you all soon!

Beep! Beep! a fun family! | Seattle Family Photographer

Had a great time with this cute family and their adorable twin boys on the waterfront! They really wanted to incorporate their jeep and I was pretty excited about it as I love incorporating things like this. Finally! It feels like spring too – we got amazing weather on the day we had their session which feels great this time of year!

Meet little miss {E} – before and after… | Redmond Baby Photographer

I was so excited to meet little Miss E after photographing this sweet family for a maternity session at their home and beautiful property. A sunny day session! | Bellevue Family Photographer

We’ve had some amazingly gorgeous days sneak in during the month of February and this was one of them! We were really worried about it being too chilly, but on the contrary, it was just right. We ran around and explored the park and just had a great time soaking in some vitamin D while I captured this sweet family! Thank you Emma and Angus! It was great seeing you again! I can’t believe how big everyone is!!

Adorable Miss {A}! | Redmond Children’s Photographer

This was a super sweet session! Miss {A} really enjoyed dressing up for this one. We danced to princess music and just had a lot of fun!! I wanted to bring in something colorful to balance out the gray days – I love the bright pink tulips. Makes me thing SPRING! I know it’s right around the corner…

What a fun location! My good friend Carmen had this idea of getting her family together for an extra yummy treat and family portraits! We met at Trophy Cupcakes in Wallingford. YUM!

And then we moved outside to Gasworks park. What a beautiful day!
