I have one space left for a last minute booking at Bellevue Botanical Gardens for TOMORROW Oct 23rd, 1:40 pm.   Call or email me if you are interested.  425-830-2705.  Great chance to get fall color in your portraits at it optimal time!

See the previews below from the mini sessions held earlier this month at the same location.

What an amazingly gorgeous day we had for the first round of outdoor mini sessions offered this fall! We met at Bellevue Botanical Gardens for these and I was very pleased with the amount of color, lots and lots of flowers still in bloom and a peak of fall color just coming out.  Now that fall color is pretty much in full swing, round 2 should be just as nice!  Fingers crossed for good weather.  I always get a little nervous about that.

So here is a peek at some of images we created that day!  What stunning families and children!  :)

Portrait Photography at Bellevue Botanical Gardens

Where else would I get to spend time with gorgeous families and cute children – inside AND out!   Here is a little peak for one of my favorite families!    Thanks Susan!  :)

A was laid back and so fun to photograph!!   We walked around downtown Kirkland, onto the dock and into the gorgeous garden I love so much.  Really works well with senior portraits!  Thanks A!

Had a few High School Senior sessions recently, we had great weather for these (yay!) and I really enjoyed working with both of these kids!

First a senior boy session at the studio.  We did the senior “super” mini, so we took a few just outside my studio and headed inside for a few more.  I love how my building has that industrial look to it, which lends itself well to senior portraits, especially boys.  But there is some greenery around too… we just didn’t use it much.

Love the simple and modern look in this!

I LOVE this garden for sessions.  It has quickly become one of my favorite places to hold sessions outdoors.   And these little ones are sooo adorable they fit right in!

So so SOOOO adorable!

And later we met in the studio for more sibling and family portraits… poor mom had a bad fall and broke 3 ribs so if you can imagine having to get yourself and your 3 children ready for a session without being able to move much.  We split the session into two, to make sure we capture her little girl for her birthday photos and then meet in the studio once she felt better for the family portraits.  :)   And hopefully Jennifer is fully recovered now.   I thought this one was a great outtake!

{GIGGLES!}

Fall is here, and the recent weather is lending to me getting used to the idea.   :)

And so for what it’s worth,  it’s time for a few things to mention.  First, something I’m not ready to even TALK ABOUT being that it’s still September, LOL (except I did post one thing below, much shame, but I have to get us ready for this and I’d much rather see a blog post than Halloween candy in the supermarket during September) But one must plan ahead! It’s National Costume Swap Day!  I have registered at www.NationalCostumeSwapDay.com – my swap to be held at the studio from 10:30 – 1:30pm on October 8th.  It’s coming right up actually, so please come and join us and swap out last years costume for a “new” one this year.    Everyone who participates in my swap AND the one at Orange Blossom Society in Redmond WA, will get a free portrait in his or her new costume!   Yay!   Last year was super fun, and I looooved taking the kids portraits in their costumes. They really enjoyed it.  I’ll be sending out e-cards and a portrait of each child will be available free of charge.   I’ll have some activities planned too!

Take a moment to RSVP by emailing Holli at holli@hollidunn.com – or on facebook, I have an invite going – https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=205283836202868     Costume drop off will be the week prior (Oct 1st-7th)  to the event at Holli Dunn’s studio in Bellevue.

I met the mom of these stunning girls about 7 or 8 years ago, when we first moved here.  Our kids were in playgroup together and it’s been so long since we caught up now that our daughters are in school and so busy.  WOW. I’m so stunned by how beautiful they have become and so big too!   I loved seeing you again, K!  Thanks for bringing them in for a portrait session!
