What to wear to your session?

Tips! Dress your family in a way that’s coordinated yet not too matchy, and steer clear of the uniform look.  Pick out one item you know someone wants to wear for portraits and bring it along with you while you shop.  Pick out coordinating colors as if everyone is wearing one outfit.   Shopping at stores such as the Gap or Old Navy generally have clothing lines for all ages (including mom and dad!) that coordinate or a one-stop-shop.

If your child(ren) will tolerate a clothing change, add something fun that shows their personality! Don’t be afraid to go wild with color or fun patterns!

Here are a few shopping resources:

Gap Kids
Hanna Andersson – shop online or check out the outlet in Woodinville for great deals.
Common Folk Kids at Crossroads in Belleuve
Kids Club at U-village in Seattle
Mini Boden
Naartjie – also at Redmond Town Center
Three Betty’s – wonderful handmade hats!
Etsy – tons of handmade items, especially knitted items like fun hats, sweet knitted tops or dresses.

Other Resources:

Blue Dress Press – Beautiful card designs, definitely worth a look!
